To design is not a tool to proliferate consumption. We should recall that the intended purpose of design is to enrich people’s life.

Design Educates Awards is an international award for designers and architects who want to bring a change to the world through their work. It is an award that recognizes, showcases, and promotes projects that can make our surroundings more functional, more beautiful, safer, healthier, and more sustainable.
The aim of the DE Awards is to find, present and promote internationally the best ideas and realizations that offer an additional educational benefit - an added value that can influence a beneficial change in the behavior or way of thinking of the recipients of the project. The project itself can highlight specific opportunities and challenges, explain socio-cultural factors and influences, or even create new development scenarios.
CATEGORIES
Each year, the esteemed panel of judges selects outstanding ideas and implementations in the categories of architectural design, product design, universal design, and responsive design.
Entries are judged based on overall concept and execution, the potential for educational impact, effectiveness and quality of information side aesthetics, quality of presentation, visioning, originality, feasibility, and versatility.
