Finalist in the category "Commercial/Institutional Architecture Under 1,000 Square Metres:" Gemma Observatoy in New Hampshire, U.S. by Anmahian Winton Architects
Azure Magazine has released a list of their finalists for the annual AZ Awards. Now in its 7th year, the competition brings together designers, architects, students and manufactures from across the globe to recognize outstanding innovation in the field.
Over 800 projects were submitted from 41 countries. The five-member jury was comprised of planner/ecologist Nina Marie Lister of Plandform, interior designer
Alessandro Munge of Studio Munge, industrial designer Theo Richardson
of Rich Brilliant Willing, architect Nader Tehrani of NADAAA, and designer
Michael Vanderbyl of Vanderbyl Design. In March, the pentamerous group came together to select the finalists for the AZ Awards 7th edition.
A celebration of the winners will be held on June 23rd in Toronto but in the meantime, the public is being asked to participate by nominating their favorites in each category for Azure's People's Choice, running from April 6th to May 5th.
