The Parrish Art Museum’s upcoming show, Image Building: How Photography Transforms Architecture, looks at the relationship between architecture, photography, and the viewer. This comprehensive survey features influential images by historical and architectural photographers from the 1930's to the present.

Each photographer brings new perspectives influencing the viewer's perception and understanding of the built environment. Through 57 works, Image Building examines "the social, psychological, and conceptual implications of architecture through the subjective interpretation of those who captured it."

The exhibition opens March 18th, and will be on display through June 17th.
