AIA|LA honors winners for 2017 Design Awards, Next LA, and COTE competitions

The AIA Los Angeles' yearly Design Awards honor architectural excellence, locally based architects and designers, and their contributions to the L.A. region. The 2017 cycle was no less competitive, attracting top-notch talent from the local architecture and design community. Competing projects (built anywhere in the world) are designed by AIA members from L.A.-area architecture firms, or are built in Los Angeles by any AIA member based anywhere in the world.
Last week at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, AIA|LA honored the winners of the 2017 Design Awards, as well as winners for the 2017 Next LA Awards competition (unbuilt and to-be-constructed commissions) and AIA|LA COTE Awards (sustainability). Projects were awarded in three rankings: Honor, Merit and Citation. The 2017 AIA|LA Presidential Honorees were also announced.
