The LIV Hospitality Design Awards has unveiled the winners of its 2025 edition. Now in its fifth year, the event seeks to recognize “exceptional architectural ventures and interior design projects reshaping the global hospitality industry.”
Over 550 applications were made to the 2025 edition, spanning 58 countries. Winning schemes were selected from architecture and interior design categories to highlight “the diversity and creativity that define the future of hospitality design.”

The architectural category saw Canopy: A treetop dining experience by Rock Venture Co. awarded the Architectural Design of the Year for Eating Spaces. Located at Anantara Golden Triangle in Thailand, the scheme was inspired by local beehives with a bamboo-clad capsule providing an “immersive nature experience.”

Meanwhile, ialogue with Nature—Commune STORE by Atelier Global Limited, led by Frankie Lui and Cai Chao, won Architectural Design of the Year for Living Spaces. Situated in Houyuan Village, China, the project transformed an abandoned school into a community hub celebrating local rice culture.

In the interior design category, Uma Nota by The Odd Duck Design, and led by Asmaa Said and Ellina Komarova, received Interior Design of the Year for Eating Spaces. The Japanese-Brazilian restaurant in Manila blends art, design, and ambiance across its multi-themed dining spaces.

Meanwhile, Nanjing Back To Yaxi Manor Resort by YuQiang & Partners won the Interior Design of the Year for Living Spaces award with a tranquil retreat in China featuring natural materials such as rammed earth and bamboo.
Elsewhere, the emerging talent category included winners Tasneem Hamza of Applied Science Private University, named Emerging Architect of the Year for Living Spaces for Bridging The Divide, An Urban and Architectural Dialogue for Fostering Community and Urban Vitality, a project reconnecting divided urban spaces in Irbid, Jordan, through revitalized heritage buildings.
Jihyeon Park from Art Center College of Design earned Emerging Interior Designer of the Year for Eating Spaces with Limen, A Place Where Time Stands Still, a transformed historic train station in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, designed to evoke nostalgia and timeless beauty.
Finally, Levi Lu, also from Art Center College of Design, was awarded Emerging Interior Designer of the Year for Living Spaces for Lianin, a Singaporean beachfront resort reimagining Peranakan culture through a modern lens.
